The face editor is the feature rich editor where most of the work is done. Here you can add cutouts, fasteners, and silkscreens. You have access to standard ports such as DB9, basic shapes, as well as your personal cutout library. If anything is missing you can visit the online cutout library or use the cutout editor to add it.

The face editor is a tool to edit a particular face of an enclosure in two dimensions. This tutorial includes the general approach to creating your enclosure as well as a complete overview of the various tools the face editor offers.

• The axis origin is not always in the bottom left hand corner so that when aligning objects across faces (say from front to back) the coordinates you would use on the back face are the same as on the front face.
