Silkscreen
General Tips For Silkscreens:
- Do not change the resolution of the silkscreen template. It must be kept exactly as is.
- Every color requires a separate silkscreen and therefore a separate charge.
- The quality of the silkscreen will be the quality you see in the silkscreen editor not on the 3D case. The view in Protocase Designer is reduced quality for better performance.
- We cannot do gradients.
- Minimum font size is 7pt, 10pt if there are serifs, increase this a little if the powdercoat is not smooth.
- Minimum line size is 1pt
- Stay 1mm (.04") away from any edges, double that distance if the powdercoat is not smooth.
- You may put a silkscreen across the back of a standoff or stud but it will be somewhat distorted.
Recommended Silkscreen Editors:
Any editor that edits *.png files should work. Best results will occur if the editor understands transparency. The following editors are free and have been tested:
